Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Amirose Holdings PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of David Crickmore to the Board as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.
David Crickmore brings over 45 years of leadership experience across the global luxury goods, beauty, fragrance, fashion, and manufacturing sectors. His career spans senior executive roles in retail, wholesale, brand strategy, and industrial operations, making him one of the most experienced figures in the international luxury and beauty industries.
For the past 25 years, David has served as CEO within the branded fragrance, bath, and body manufacturing sector, where he led the creation, repositioning, and global scaling of premium and niche luxury brands. Most notably, he led the transformation of Amouage into a world-class international luxury fragrance house between 2006 and 2019, leading its complete brand reinvention, global repositioning, and operational transformation. Under his leadership, Amouage expanded into approximately 75 international markets, established flagship retail and standalone boutiques worldwide, diversified into Bath & Body and Home collections, and significantly strengthened margins, brand equity, and global relevance.
He also successfully repositioned and scaled Thameen, taking the brand into circa 70 international markets and building a broader, more globally diverse consumer base.
Beyond brand leadership, David is recognised for delivering large-scale operational transformation, including manufacturing restructuring, installation of modern operating systems and processes, and the development of new production facilities to drive efficiency, quality, and long-term scalability.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions with iconic luxury and fashion brands, including Ozwald Boateng, Duchamp, Pringle, Nautica, and Alfred Dunhill, further strengthening his credentials across the premium consumer sector.
David is widely regarded as a specialist in change management, business turnaround, margin enhancement, brand repositioning, and strategic growth, making his appointment a significant strategic addition to the Amirose Board.
The Board believes David's appointment materially strengthens Amirose's leadership capability and strategic depth, and will play a key role in supporting the Company's long-term growth ambitions and international expansion strategy.
David Crickmore currently holds (legally and beneficially) 2,375,678 ordinary shares (1.95%).
Save as set out in this announcement, there are no further details to be disclosed under Rule 4.9 of the Aquis Access Rules for Companies in respect of David Crickmore.
David Crickmore, Non-Executive Director of Amirose, commented: "I am delighted to join the Amirose Board as a Non-Executive Director and look forward to applying my experience to support the Company's next phase of growth and transformation, for the benefit of the business and its valued clients."
Aleksandra Binkowska, Non-Executive Chairman of Amirose, commented: "It is a great privilege to welcome Mr Crickmore to the Amirose Board.
