As part of a guided tour of the facility led by Invinity staff, the Minister charged and discharged an Invinity battery system connected to the Scottish electricity grid and witnessed a number of demonstrations of the technology's capabilities including its fire safety and low noise characteristics. The Minister was shown plans and work in progress to expand output at the facility and saw newly-manufactured components for the LoDES project, which will see up to 20.7 MWh of Invinity's vanadium flow batteries installed at a site in the
