Aquis Technologies Wins Best Matching Engine for Exchanges and Electronic Trading Venues

Aquis Technologies, the technology licensing division of Aquis Exchange PLC, is proud to announce that it has been awarded ‘Best Matching Engine for Exchanges and Electronic Trading Venues’ at the TradingTech Insight Europe Awards 2024.
The winners were selected by way of an industry-wide vote and were announced during the TradingTech Summit in London on 29th February 2024. These prestigious awards recognise excellence in trading solutions, services, and consultancy for capital markets, and focus on vendors who provide exceptional trading infrastructure, trading technology, and data solutions.
In 2023, Aquis Technologies developed and launched the world’s first 24/7/365 regulated-grade matching engine: Aquis Equinox. While in traditional exchange models, exchanges typically require downtime at set periods for sequence number resets, maintenance and software upgrades, an exchange running on Equinox requires no down time – ever.
In addition, in November the Aquis Stock Exchange became the first recognised investment exchange to run a cloud-based matching engine – a further demonstration of the strength and resilience of Aquis’ technology.
